Hi, I’m Hannah. Currently, I’m a reporter based in Massachusetts. But over the past seven years, I reported across salty, swampy Florida, having had the privilege to cover the best, the worst and everything in between.
I navigate life-changing decisions made by local and state government leaders, conveying the need-to-know facts and looking at issues from all angles.
I chronicle community triumphs and tragedies, whether it be a novel needle exchange program that aims to save lives or memorializing the lives claimed by a global pandemic.
And, naturally, I explore the unique features of the Sunshine State, including natural and man-made disasters like hurricanes, Red Tide and overdevelopment; a kangaroo escape and other non-native wildlife running amok; and the former president who lives across the Intracoastal Waterway.
When I’m not on deadline, I’m usually trekking through nature with a DSLR in hand, slowly reading through my local library on my eReader or furiously maintaining my streak on Duolingo.
